Creating the solid foundations for creating thinking

• Working with our clients we explore the best ways to understand the conditions we will be working in and how consumers react to existing communication
  
  
• This will eventually drill down to a simple strategic map from which we will develop our conceptual thinking
  
  
• We are also aware of the need for ongoing research and frequently incorporate measurement tools into our designs such as hidden cameras to monitor consumer movement and laser counters to establish footfall flow

Generating original creative concepts

• The first step when generating creative concepts is to carry out a brand immersion where we attempt to get under the skin of the brand and find out what makes it tick
  
  
• Brainstorming sessions will deliver some initial concepts which are worked up as black and white hand drawn scamps
  
  
• As we further develop concepts we start to bring in more detail and also add colour to help clients get a better understanding what it might look like once built

Turning a concept into a fully developed vision

• Once a conceptual route is agreed upon, the design is modelled in wire-frame to create a full 3D understanding of how any technology will function
  
  
• The next stage is to render the unit to full finished 3D visuals to give an accurate look & feel
  
  
• A 3D fly-through can also be developed to map the consumer path and put you in their shoes as they enter the environment and experience the unit

Tying down all the details and preparing a visual plan

• All designs are drafted in 2D and technical drawings are produced which specify all dimensions are finishes
  
  
• Materials are then specified, samples are found for client approval before a sample kit is produced complete with specification of finishes, paint, varnishes etc
  
  
• Where technology is incorporated in the design this is fully specified and tested before production commences

Regionally produced bespoke build

• Designs are frequently fully prototyped not just as an aesthetic model but also as fully working units complete with working technology
  
  
• Build is carried out in one of our regional production facilities under the guidance of a production director
  
  
• All build conforms to our stringent manufacturing tolerances and quality assurances and is only signed-off once it undergoes our proprietary SureQC quality control check
